The story behind Fularte
There was a time when everything seemed to fall apart.
I was fired just before finding out I was pregnant. At that moment, my world filled with doubts and fear… but also with a spark of hope.
I couldn’t afford a baby carrier, so guided by my mom —who taught me to sew since I was a little girl— I took thread, fabric, and determination, and made my own. Without realizing it, we were sewing much more than a piece of fabric: we were weaving a new beginning.
🌿 A brand born from love and resilience
Between sleepless nights, diapers, stitches, and brushstrokes, Fularte was born.
From a need came a dream, and from that dream, a mission: that every mother could experience babywearing in a safe, comfortable, and beautiful way.
I trained as a Babywearing Consultant and Breastfeeding Educator, sewed through the night, and learned about ergonomics, fabrics, bodies, and love. Over time, my mom became my right hand in the workshop—the one who supports, sews, corrects, and stands by me.
Today, every piece that leaves our hands carries a little of both of us: her experience and my vision.

Behind every design is a story of perseverance—of a mother who decided to turn adversity into art and exhaustion into purpose.
Today, Fularte is synonymous with Mexican artisanal luxury: unique pieces that embrace, support, and tell stories of love and strength.
We are also a brand with a cause. We create low-cost babywearing campaigns from time to time, donate products to families in real need, and design extra-sized carriers for children with disabilities. I know firsthand the challenges we face when we have one or more children with disabilities at home.

my mom and I, sewing shoulder to shoulder, accompanied by my children, my husband, and our pets who fill the workshop with laughter, fabrics, and life.
